Its taken 10 months for me to get to this point but I feel like I am almost ready to start to take Rustone to the public officially. I have got the basic foundations set for making this business start building and am happy with the structures that I have put in place at last.
I know many who will read this have watched me swap and change things constantly over the last 6 or so months since I started posting online. All of which I wanted to do prior to launching but there was a bit of pressure to bring in some income. You have had to endure the trial and error creative process and I would like to thank you for your patient support though this time.
I would also like to give a special thank you to the people who have helped me. Vanessa from Vision Hair and Beauty for giving me the privilege of developing her website, Tracey & Steven Irwin for selecting me to take their wedding photography and the biggest thanks of all must go to my supportive husband, Russell.
After finding myself out of work in March 2017, it soon became obvious that finding another position here in Invercargill area was not going to be easy, especially doing what I enjoy. I very quickly became bored after tidying up the house and gardens. Apart from a few hours in the morning applying for jobs, my slate was clean. I am not one for twiddling my thumbs, so I turned to my camera, laptop and marketing studies. I thought how can I put all this together so I can do what I enjoy and stop myself from going insane from sheer boredom.
The result – RUSTONE – creative marketing, photography and design.
www.rustone.co.nz – a website devoted to my works in photography. Showcasing my ability to possible clients that are looking for someone to photograph their products, events etc.
www.rustone.nz – an eCommerce website where I hope to assist other photographers, along with myself to finding loving homes for our photography in the form of canvas wall hangings and publications.
www.rustonenz.com – the mother site for Rustone New Zealand, where photography meets business. The challenges of marketing your products and service in our fast paced and changing world. I want to help business owners to “put their best face forward!”
I continue to look for work here in the Invercargill area so if anyone hears of something coming up, I would appreciate a heads up. Rustone will work around whatever I do so if you need a photographer or marketing assistance and our times match, I will be keen to help you out.
Warm regards
Toni Hardman
